Simon took this photo the other night while he was bathing all three of the kiddies - 'Liza and her cousins from downstairs. Until I saw it, I never really thought of our girl as olive-skinned. But compared to the those lily-white cousins, she's practically ethnic. Have I mentioned she's 1/32 Native American?
And where was I while this photo was being taken? Jumping through waves down at the beach.

Although her Native American blood may be showing, I personally attribute Eliza's olive skin in this pic tothe tendency of a camera flash to 'bleach' the appearance of those at close range (like Finnbar and Sylvie).
