You would think after a bath like this little 'liza would sleep like a champ. After a long day and a doctor's visit to look into some projectile vomiting (it was nothing serious, fortunately) we thought the girl could do with a big night of sleep. But last night was her first night of really testing us - she was awake from her 12am feed until about 5.30 in the morning - crying, feeding, hiccuping - doing everything but sleeping. Finally it was the hairdryer that did the trick: white noise is a beautiful thing. Today of course she's been angelic, even trying out her baby Bjorn for the first time and falling fast asleep in it.

When it comes to vomit (or even blood), the rule of thumb is that it is never, never as much as you think it is. It's more important to pay attention to duration than quantity. That said, getting puked on is a parental right of passage, so enjoy it while it's still kind of cute and funny!
Lindsay used to puke all the time- projectile and all. We had burp rags and blankets stationed all around the house.
Congratulations! She's absolutely beautiful and that is one of the best names I've heard in a long time, I love it! Hopefully it won't be too long before I get to see her. Take care!
