It's hard to believe we've made it this far already! All of the houseguests have now come & gone and the three month mark seems strangely anti-climactic. If anything, little 'liza's regressed a bit this week...getting up for two middle of the night feeds instead of her usual one and being more difficult to settle after her evening routine (she feeds while listening to Iron & Wine's "Endless Numbered Days" and then a burp, swaddle and off to sleep). Maybe the pressure of being a baby rather than a newborn is getting to her. And she's not sure she likes the forward-facing seat in the stroller - it means she can't see me the whole time. I think I may have swapped it a little early.
Then again, it could be a growth spurt. Whatever it is, she is definitely changing. She is very strong and likes to stand while being supported on my lap, loves looking around (forward facing Bjorn is definitely a hit), smiling and chatting, she'll hold a rattle if you put it in her hand and can roll from her tummy to her back. She likes books and baths and mobiles and her bouncy chair. She doesn't like: car rides unless someone is sitting next to her, the medicine she takes for her reflux and being held like a baby (flat in your arms).
I've got new photos to upload, but Laurie accidentally took my camera connection back to Virginny, mistaking it for her iPod charger so blame her for the photo-less entry.
